Fastraz ® pumped cementitious fast-track Terrazzo flooring system, proves that progress has been made!
The
Fastraz ® Terrazzo Flooring System has been specifically designed to offer all the looks, properties and benefits, but none of the difficulties, of traditionally laid Terrazzo floors.
Initially the concrete base slab (the substrate) is cleaned and textured by captive shot-blasting, then sealed and primed - generally a 2 coat procedure. When the primer is touch dry, the
Fastraz ® is pump-applied onto the prepared surface. The captive shot-blasting and the Primer/Sealer are supplied and applied as part of the totally integrated
Fastraz ® application system.
With an application rate of up to 1000sq.m. (10,000sq.ft.) per day, a curing rate of 4 to 5 hours for foot traffic and 24 hours for wheeled traffic and the Grinding, Polishing and Sealing starting 24 hours after laying, this fast-track cementitious flooring system takes days rather than weeks, from start to finish.
The nominal Total thickness of
Fastraz ®, after grinding and polishing, is 7mm and provided the substrate is reasonably flat and level, no sub-screed or levelling screed is required.
